            BIO:

            

            On June 18, 2018 Nan was inducted into the Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame by the Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation.

 

            She is currently the jazz vocalist for The Swing Band Reunion’s 20 piece Swing Band.  The web site of the Swing Band                                Reunion is: www.swingbandreunion.com

           

            Nan has appeared with most of the great Little Rock musicians including, Art Porter, Bob Steele, Charles Thomas, Tom                            Cox, Buck Powell, Joe Vick, Brian Brown and Dave Rogers.

 

           Nan was classically trained in St. Louis, Missouri and performed with the St. Louis Concert Chorale for 5 years.  She also was                   a member of the Arkansas Symphony Chorus under John Yarrington for 5 years and the Arkansas Symphony Chorale and                        Yuletide Singers and with the Arkansas Symphony Festival Singers under David Itkin in the past.   She has been a member of                   the Arkansas Chamber Singers under John Erwin for 23 years. The Chamber Singers are in the process of securing a new 

           Director.

 

            Nan’s experiences with jazz musicians in town have been many, thus the press releases are about those appearances.   

            However, she also received a favorable review in the Democrat Gazette for her semi classical performance in a duet singing

            “The Prayer” for the Choral Societies Broadway review in 2000.

Performed with Henry Shead for the Monty Hall Show, "Lets Make a Deal" taped in Little Rock - Recorded Commercially for numerous accounts - Extensive Song List of more than 500.  With Arkansas Symphony Chorus 5 years the Yuletide Festival Singers 3 years. Broadway Revue with Arkansas Choral Society in 2000 -  the Arkansas Chamber Singers for the last 23 years.
